Day 7 - Salad Greens
menu LAST DAY!!
I had several small salads drizzled with Balsamic Vinegar, tasty but not very filling.
Over the last 7 days I have lost about 5-6 pounds but I will gain back 2-3 getting back to normal eating, normal as in HEALTHY. I was a healthy eater before but sometimes you get in a slump..... so back on track. Over the next few days I will continue drinking 1 scoop of powder twice a day and eat a Mediterranean type diet. Tomorrows is a fruit smoothie (I missed not eating fruit!), I can include the powder in it. I will use all my leftover vegetables to make a salad for lunch and include turkey or chicken with light dressing. Dinner is seared tuna on greens w/ Balsamic dressing. A square of dark chocolate for desert!
I encourage everyone to try this or some type of detox/cleanse. I really does your body good and makes you appreciate good food.... after 7 days anything will taste great! Day 6 - Zucchini! Prepared it roasted w/ a dash of salt and pepper. I may have cheated and added a couple green onions for flavor. I munched on raw slices during the day. Overall I have felt really good. I can make it one more day!!

Day 5 - Green Beans!
Bean are good raw and cooked! I munched on raw during the day and for dinner a boiled them for 2-3 minutes and topped w/ grated fresh ginger. I had a slight headache today which is not normal for me. My daily routine is a lot easier not having to think about what to cook. The bad part about that is I love to cook! On the home stretch - 2 days and counting!!!

Day 4- Broccoli
Steamed w/ a dash of Red Wine Vinegar, tasted pretty good. Still feel good. I did a light 30 minute spin class w/ abs afterwards. I haven't really felt hungry, I have been drinking 4-5 shakes plus vegetables for lunch and dinner. Only eating one thing sure makes meal planning easy. Work made the day go by fast. I'm half way there!

Day 3 - Peas
Peas are alright! Had fresh peas with Italian Seasoning. Feeling pretty good, got out for a walk with the dog. Had to go to the grocery store, that was hard, everything looked good! It is also hard when you are the only one in the household doing the detox. I make myself scarce when cooking is going on. I came home from the store and the house smelled like bacon!

Day 2 - Cauliflower (i know it's not green but it is in the broccoli family)
My first attempt at making cauliflower was not the best, I steamed it and smashed it w/ some dried garlic. Dinner was better, I roasted it w/ FRESH garlic, a dash of salt and pepper, light spray of olive oil and lemon juice.
Feeling good, I got out and did some light snowshoeing, but afterward took a nap. Started reading a new book.....it's amazing how many commercials are food!!

I started my 7 day FLT approved detox today! For the next 7 days I will consume an unlimited amount of organic green vegetables, changing the vege each day, along with a Medical Food of choice (4-6 shakes)
Day 1 is peppers (red, yellow, green and hot)
Feel great on day one! Medical food tastes good, banana pineapple flavor. I have mixed in 1/2 scoop of Dynamic Greens Chocolate to my shake after lunch for a chocolate treat.
I feel a little chilled.... I know it is 4 degrees outside but the last detox I did I felt cold too.
